Maciej Woznica, Portfolio manager of the new Coeli Frontier Markets Fixed Income, was featured in a Bloomberg mention from the beginning of April.
Coeli Hires Ex-Sparinvest Portfolio Manager to Run Frontier Fund
Coeli Frontier Markets AB has recruited Maciej Woznica to manage a new fund with $30 million of seed money.
Woznica, who previously worked at Sparinvest, will be lead portfolio manager for the Coeli Sicav I – Frontier Markets Fixed Income fund, he said in an email. He will work with a senior analyst and get country input from equity portfolio managers Hans-Henrik Skov and James Bannan.
The fund will focus on hard currency high yield in frontier markets, which Woznica says is “an attractive space due to actual yield north of 7%, historically lower defaults than U.S. high-yield corporates and on the wide end of relative pricing.”
