Subscription of blogs and newsletters
By signing up for Coeli’s newsletter and/or blogs subscriptions at www.coeli.se, you will receive information that Coeli distributes via your e-mail. Responsible for the personal information is Coeli Asset Management. The information may be dispensed to other companies within the Coeli enterprise.
The personal information (e-mail address) provided in the sign-up process are used to administrate your subscription. The legal basis for the treatment is the consent you provide by registering your e-mail address to Coeli. By registering you consent to Coeli’s management of your personal information. You may revoke this approval at any time. Coeli will keep your personal information until you request the data to be deleted, which you do easiest by unsubscribing from the newsletters and the blog post respectively by using the link furthest down in the send-out’s.
Job application
When applying for available job openings or sending in spontaneous job applications, the information will be sent to and processed by the Coeli enterprise’s HR department. The personal information (name, e-mail address, phone number, resume, and other data) that is provided in the application process is used for filling a vacancy and to maintain a candidate database for future possible vacancies. Responsible for personal information
If you are a client at Coeli Wealth Management it is Coeli Wealth Management that is responsible for managing your personal information. If you have signed an agreement on discretionary management with Coeli Asset Management it is a joint responsibility between Coeli Wealth Management and Coeli Asset Management for the handling of your personal information. The information may be dispensed to other companies within the Coeli enterprise.
Your personal information that Coeli process
The personal information Coeli normally process about you can be divided into the following categories:
- Identification data: name and personal identity number. Coeli is also required to collect documentation that strengthens your identity, e.g. in the form of a copy of your ID document
- Contact information: phone numbers and addresses
- Information required by law: Information regarding tax domicile and tax registration number, information required for customer due diligence and counteraction money laundering, information necessary for suitability r appropriateness assessment (e.g. financial information) and transaction information
- Specific categories for personal information: e.g. health information if necessary for intermediation of insurances.
Coeli keeps documented notes from meetings, recorded calls and electronic communications as required in accordance with contemporary securities legislation.
The Data Inspection Board has granted Coeli permission to process personal information regarding statutory offence by auditing the information against the issued list from Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Special Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN-list). As well, Coeli matches your personal information against corresponding sanctions in the EU.
In some cases, Coeli also has an obligation to process data, such as convictions in criminal cases, in accordance with contemporary legislation, e.g..
Purpose and legal basis for processing your personal identity number
Personal identity number provided orally or written in connection with preparation for or administration of an assignment (e.g. client documentation) is processed by Coeli in order to complete the agreements entered and for actions taken before and after the agreement has been reached. Process of information also occurs in order for Coeli to be able to accomplish the legal requirements in accordance with e.g. the Act on Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, regulation towards market abuse, Account Act, Securities Market Act and FATCA/CRS.
From where does Coeli collect your personal information?
Your personal information is mainly provided by yourself. Provision of these data is a prerequisite for Coeli to be able to fulfill the statutory obligations for having you as our client.
Coeli updates the information about you from SPAR (statens personadressregister) and in the cases applicable updates information of companies from Credit Sate and Swedish Companies Registration Office list of beneficial owner.
Who can get access to your personal information?
Only individuals within the Coeli enterprise who need the information in order to fulfill their job assignments will be given access to your personal information. Additionally, Coeli employs so-called Personal Data Advisers who process personal information on our behalf in connection with, e.g. providing a service, software, or IT operation. Within this framework, privacy is always considered.
Coeli is obligated to report information to The Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, and in specific cases Financial Police.
How long is your personal information stored?
As rule, Coeli is required to store your personal information for ten years after the client relationship has ended with the purpose of providing proof of any requirements. In some cases, storage time may be shorter. The storage time depends on law, regulation, practice and possible government decisions.

Your personal information is provided by yourself, corporation partners, or from an acquaintances of yours.

Coeli has registered your personal information since it is believed you may benefit from Coeli’s services. Thus, Coeli has deemed that in order to offer services to you, there is a legitimate interest in registering your personal information and contact you.
How long is your personal information stored?
Coeli stored your personal information for as long as it is estimated that you will be interest in staying in touch with us. You can always request to have your personal data deleted earlier.
Your rights
In accordance with contemporary data protection laws you have the right to access the information regarding your personal information Coeli has stored.
You have the right to once a year put in a written request to access the information regarding your personal information that Coeli has stored, free of charge. You also have the right to request any correction of incorrect information about you, request deletion or limitations of your personal information, or object Coeli’s processing of the information. The right to have your personal information deleted is not an absolute right, but a right, generally subordinated to the obligation to save the information has priority. You may request to access your personal information in a format readable by machine and in case the handling is based on consent you may revoke the consent at any time.
If you should have any complaints regarding Coeli’s handling of your personal information you have the right to form a complaint to the Swedish Data Inspection Board.

Coeli only handles your personal information within the EU/EES.
